Bocchino Audio Power Plugs.

The BalugaTM uses the same high design standards that are incorproated in all of Bocchino Audio product;

*Twin M6 SS304 Set screws to hold the wire cores of each polatity in place.
*Zirconium Copper Silver plated Power Tongs. ( also available in Pure Copper Silver plated )
*Power tongs can take cable wire cores up to 6mm in diameter.
*Polymer is     UHMW/PE  ( Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene: eg: atomic weight  of one water molecule is 18 amu. One molecule of UHMW/PE  is 7 000 000 )  Dielectric of UHMW/PE is 2.3 Teflon is 2.2.
*Locking Screws for cabling jacket are Nylon M10 set screws and 4 are utilised.
*Rear Neoprene gland and rear gland bracket standard on all models.
*Power Core is held in place with 3 x 65mm long SS 304 bolts which penetrate deep into the Plugs' Glove.
 

SantaMariaTM and SantaLucia IEC body is also UHMW/PE with  Zirconium Copper ( alloy C15000 Cu> 99.5% and conductivity IACS >98%  ) tongs, silver plated.
Other electroplating finishes are also available: Namely: Palladium, Platinum, Rhodium and Gold on Silver.
All plugs are also available with Fine Silver tongs with none or added electroplate; Please inquire if you seek a non standard finish.

Recommendations:
When installing wire cores into the wire cylinder buckets it is recommended that a firm shim is emplaced between the base of the set screws and the wire core wires; This so that the torque of the set screws does not shear the wire cores.
The rearward set screw has slightly less tension than the forward set screw; both must be firm but both must not be screwed so hard that they shear the wire cores they secure.
Test everything!
