Mayflower^TM

An excellent interconnect cable with Pure Copper RCA or BAXLR^TM connectors.

The Mayflower^TM   interconnect cable design derives from the hand made cables which have been the mainstay of the  Bocchino Audio portfolio for over 25 years. The Mayflower^TM ultra Pure Copper wire strands are drawn through a diamond die, in a vacuum, to deliver a flawless circular surface. The smoothness of the surface enables accurate delivery of high frequency music and precise stereo imaging.  Solid core conductors for the signal wires enable high current carrying capacity delivering ultra fast transients, energy in the bass and with   a relaxed sense of  immediacy of the performance space.

The return to signal ratio for RCA interconnect is a perfect 1:1;  with  sophisticated ground, shield and drain wire topology  anchored at the the source end; Thus enabling an extremely quiet background.
For balanced configuration the  ground acts as the return through the circuit and this maintains the same  ultra-quiet background for balanced listening, with the signal wires maintaining their perfect 1:1 ratio for the hot and cold.

Wire purity is  >99.99% Pure Copper with less than 20ppm impurities; traces of Silver permeate the alloy.  All Mayflower^TM  cables are terminated with Bocchino Audio designed and manufactured Pure Copper connectors. For the RCA the B3 “The Rocket" Lockable connector, all Pure Copper >99.99% pure; this is then  heavily Silver plated.  For the balanced interconnect the Bocchino Audio R9 BAXLR^TM,  signal pins are also machined from pure copper billet, >99.99% and heavily silver plated. One major property of  the Mayflower^TM interconnect cable is that it has  identical metallurgy for both cable wire and connector for both signal and return polarities for RCA and BAXLR^TM.

Mayflower^TM  will deliver superb musical performance from your first listen and improve with time.
Break in period at 40 hrs will see it deliver nearly most of its full performance. The  Mayflower^TM  is natural and transparent and draws the listener completely into the music.  The Mayflower^TM  cable is devoid of frequency emphasis and is balanced across the entire audio frequency spectrum. As with all Bocchino Audio connectors the wires of the Mayflower are secured under high pressure mechanically in a compression topology.

This ensures that the cable is unconditionally stable for phase and impedance at all audio frequencies.

Mayflower with B3 RCA plugs can only be used on RCA chassis sockets that are at least 25mm or 1 inch apart between centres and only on discrete chassis sockets. Mayflower with B3 Plugs must never be used on surface mounted RCA chassis sockets nor on recessed chassis sockets. And not on WBT NextGen sockets.

Best sockets are discrete sockets and also Bocchino Audio Pure Copper TomCat RCA chassis sockets.
 

 

Guidance for installing the B3 RCA Mayflower cable onto your appliance.

Firstly screw the locking barrel so that it is well forward of the connector tongs. Gently push the tong section onto the socket while slowly screwing the locking barrel back onto the tongs. Wait until the tongs are fully over the chassis socket then finally firm the locking barrel to lock the connector assembly into position. Do not overtithten! The B3 Is all Pure Copper finger tight is sufficient.
 

 

Also supplied is a polishing cloth. This enables the user to keep the B3 looking its best.
 

 

"The Superlative" R9 BAXLR^TM.

Here also ensure that the xlr chassis sockets are at least 25mm or 1 inch apart between centres. Avoid installing the Mayflower R9     BAXLR^TM   onto surface mounted

 chassis sockets and / or recessed chassis sockets. The Bocchino R9 BAXLR^TM     is a firm fit into chassis mounted sockets.
